Business Journal Awards for Financial Excellence event recognizes CFOs and other financial executives in the Greater Washington region for their outstanding performance as corporate financial stewards in 2008.

FENG Colorado Chapter

The Financial Executives Networking Group ('The FENG') provides senior financial executives with an easy way to network exclusively with other senior financial executives and to share workplace challenges, transition experiences and job leads. The group began in 1991 with a few friends who met regularly in a library. Over time, that FENG 'circle of friends' has grown to over 28,000 members.

CEO Netweavers-DFW Chapter

CEO Netweavers is a national organization with chapters throughout the United States, founded in 2001 in Dallas/Fort Worth. The group is a peer-to-peer support network of CEOs and trusted senior professional service advisors, committed to practicing the principles of Servant Leadership. Members freely share their knowledge, skills, and relationships to build careers and businesses without expecting anything in return.

American Payroll Association Dallas Chapter

To support and expand the professionalism, competence and knowledge of its members and of the Payroll Profession. The group was founded in 1983.

RMAC Denver Conference

The Rocky Mountain Area Conference for Finance & Accounting Professionals was started in 1988 by the American Society of Women Accountants in 1999. The Institute of Management Accountants and Financial Executives International became cosponsors in 2000. In 2003, The Institute of Internal Auditors became the fourth cosponsor.  In 2008 the RMAC had over 225 attendees to the conference.

AIS Educator Association

The AIS Educator Association (AISEA) is a non-profit organization of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) professors and was formed in 1999 by Professor John R. “Jack” Stewart, University of Northern Colorado. The association prides itself on delivering a conference whose sessions are directly applicable to classroom teaching. Training sessions give faculty hands-on experience and practice in actually using software, audit control language, query languages, database systems, accounting packages and other tools which they may then use in the classroom.
