Capabilities & Experience

As an eDiscovery Practice Leader at Hudson Legal, Alejandra oversees the DC, New York, Philadelphia and St. Louis offices. She manages high-profile matters and works with corporate and law firm counsel to develop tailored discovery solutions specific to each client’s case. She has extensive experience with patent, trademark, and products liability litigation as well as government investigations. Alejandra’s legal knowledge spans every phase of the EDRM including data collection, keyword drafting, early case assessment, budget development, and workflow creation. Alejandra is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and places a strong emphasis on planning and process.

Before joining Hudson, Alejandra was Discovery counsel at a law firm in Richmond, VA. Her practice focused on advising clients and co-counsel on discovery-related issues including data collection, processing, review, production and privilege log drafting. She helped her clients prepare for meet and confer conferences, draft ESI protocols and leverage technology to efficiently manage the document review process.

Alejandra holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Board and Computer Crimes Casebook Editor. She received her B.S. in Biology from The College of William and Mary. She is a member in good standing of the Virginia Bar, registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Recent Projects

In-Depth Document Review Project Management: Following complex client specifications, Alejandra worked closely with counsel to tailor the review, conduct special request projects, and lead a team of attorneys to conduct a patent litigation review for a consumer products company.

Document Review and Privilege Log Creation: Alejandra oversaw a team of contract attorneys conducting a document review and privilege log creation for a financial services company. Both the review and the log were delivered ahead of schedule and to the satisfaction of the client.
