Hudson Legal's executive vice president, Mark Yacano and Steve Green, director of managed solutions, presented and facilitated a round table discussion on the 'Use of Technology Tools to Reduce Discovery Costs' at the May 10 Corporate E-Discovery Forum in San Francisco.
The presentation covered a wide array of tools and methods available to law firms and corporate counsels for optimizing discovery processes and reducing legal costs. This included information on some of the latest Early Case Assessment (ECA) technologies and how they may be used to reduce the volume of documents in a review.
Details were also given on technologies and resources specifically designed for the review phase of discovery, which can help create legal document review efficiencies, generate important feedback during the document review process and automate administrative tasks associated with both the review and production stages of the EDRM lifecycle.
Approximately 40 legal professionals from various Fortune 500 companies attended the conference.
